LCM Favourite: A. Sauvage SS15

by Rosie Sparks July 03, 2014

British designer A. Sauvage presents his vibrant Ghanaian roots in his latest LCM collection and much to our delight at Mayamiko Designed; his philosophy of ‘Dress Easy’ was enhanced by flamboyant colour clashes, ethnic images and botanical prints.

Bold motifs of Congolese stamps decorated the casual street wear as tomato red and bright yellow gave shouts of colour to sharp tailoring. Pattern on pattern and more is more brought effortless cool and here; Sauvage had dressed several types of contemporary men.

Mod-chic influenced mossy green bombers and boots, the jazzy gentleman was in loud, yet precise, tailoring and casual Friday came in palm printed tees and jumpers.

Sauvage continues his reputation of under-stated luxury with perfect cuts and casual styling, but his SS15 man shows playfulness as he indulges a more energetic mood and we admire the vivid confidence and cool it transpires.
